We didn’t even know there was such a thing. Avengers are great and all, but let’s be honest here,…you don’t normally associate fandom with fanciness. And yet, this apartment has proved everyone wrong. Way to go Absolook Interior Designs!
Singapore-based, Absolook did a fantastic job with this space. The dining room is decorated with a mural, a giant red and dark chrome “A”, and a mixture of silver, black, and white, A.K.A. the best color combination of all time. For real.
The living room has a S.H.I.E.L.D. theme, the logo taking up most of one of the walls, surrounded by Avengers canvas artwork. The bedroom is Iron Man themed, with a mural right above the bed, and accents of red in modern shapes scattered throughout. They actually resemble parts of the Mark XLIII suit. Maybe we’re seeing things?
The kitchen is Hulk-themed, of course. Everyone knows green makes you calm and hungry. Ironic? The soothing color? Maybe. Either way, Hulk is busting out of the wall, per usual. The cabinets are 50’s green, and somehow, it works. Don’t ask us how, but it does. Maybe it’s the fact that everything else is silver or black, but hey, it just…works.
Now, let’s be real for a second here: despite how badass this is, in concept, many people tend to be haters when they see this kind of fandom. Because it’s a whole new level of fandom…Either they’re jealous, or they seriously do think this is the “forever alone” guy’s apartment. So, let’s start a discussion! Ladies, would you date a man who lived in this awesomeness, or would you think “he’s desperate, lonely, and will never grow up”? Gentlemen, would you live here, or would you feel like you’re a teenager again?
For the record, it’s OK to love the Avengers and still think this is too much. It’s also OK to love the Avengers and not mind this theme as like…a hotel room, where you don’t have to live permanently. It’s also OK to love the Avengers and totally ask for the asking price for the apartment. Whatever floats your boat.
You can see the apartment on Geekologie, too.
